Happy Spring and have a good Easter and/or Passover.

After a few week hiatus I am back and hopefully will be churning out my “picks” on a regular basis again.

Latin, Afro-Cuban, Arabic & Serbo-Croatian world fusion music
evening of dance music from around the globe while raising funds for Instruments of Change, an organization that offers community building music programs to residents of the downtown east side through their Women Rock! camps.
Special guest – Marc Fournier of Electropical will be spinning a mix of world beat music between sets

Tom Arntzen on piano and also a few Sinatraesqe vocal arrangements. Ron Thompson is on the guitar. Derry Byrne is on trumpet, Rod Murray is on trombone, Dave Say and Bill Runge are on saxes, Buff Allen will be kicking the tubs and Dave Guiney, bandleader, is on bass.
Free swing dance lesson at 7p.m. and DJ Jose will be spinning swing classics inbetween sets.
