Saxophonist Cory Weeds fulfills a long time dream of collaborating with New York City pianist David Hazeltine. David is one of a handful of young pianists who has successfully forged his own distinctive style and musical voice. His influences extend from Art Tatum and Bud Powell to Barry Harris and Cedar Walton. With Chris Davis trumpet, Ken Lister bass, Jesse Cahill drums.

Proceeds of the evening will help Rhythm ‘n’ Roots get to Cuba in March for an amazing choral and cultural exchange with a number of choirs in Havana.
