Hello, this is Jeni. I always intended a career in the arts, but somehow instead spent decades of rewarding work with social services in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and with the U.N., Red Cross and Medicines sans Frontiers/Doctors without Borders across Canada and around the world. During this time I volunteered with various cultural organizations but finally I am now delighted to find myself with time to devote to the arts as a self-employed publicist and event planner.
An avid live music fan, I attend gigs of all genres at various venues around town. Initially I started making recommendations to friends via email and inviting them to join me… somehow the email list grew and grew and morphed into this website. Now it includes music, theatre, film, dance, art, food, wine and anything else I think my readers may enjoy.
