Coming off his first album release as a leader last year, clarinetist Geoff Claridge turns his attention the music of Benny Goodman in this heartfelt salute to one of the jazz world’s biggest icons. From his band’s early years featured on the Let’s Dance radio program through to his countless collaborations with a who’s who of six decades of jazz legends, many of whose fame he personally had a hand in, a taste of the many eras in which Benny performed.
