A Steady Rain made theatre history in 2009, smashing box office records in its sold-out run. Starring Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman, Keith Huff’s award winning dramatic play took Broadway by storm. Two Chicago cops, partners on the beat and lifelong friends: Denny seems to have it all – a beautiful wife, two young kids, a dog and more TV sets than rooms to put them in; But Joey’s life is heading in the other direction – it’s been a constant battle with the bottle in his roach infested, one room pit he calls home. Denny does all he can to help Joey through his dark days. But though he loves him like a brother Denny doesn’t know what’s lurking at the heart of Joey’s torment.
