Welcome to September!!
Just back from great trip to Seattle and onwards to Vancouver Washington Wine & Jazz Festival. Recommend you check it out next year..lovely little venue with fantastic music. (What is not to like about Stanley Jordan and Lee Ritenour on the same evening bill?)

Followed this with 3 day wine tour around Oliver. 15 wineries visited and 60 wines tasted. Another highly recommended excursion with a stay at the perfectly peaceful Flaming Squirrel Guest House just outside of Oliver. http://www.vrbo.com/559483

Vancouver Biennale presents GREY CITY featuring OSGEMEOS
All proceeds support the public art mural being created by OSGEMEOS on Granville Island.
“Grey City” takes you to the streets of São Paulo, where a new form of graffiti was born when works by artists OSGEMEOS, Nunca and Nina spread through the city and then to art galleries and museums around the world. When a new law threatens to destroy their work, the artists unleash a graffiti war, starting one of the most creative resistance movements in Latin American art. This movie embodies the power of creative expression to create a movement that is fueled by the people and for the people.
